Outline

Due to continued spread of COVID-19 infections in Okinawa, dialysis patients infected with COVID-19 are unable to be hospitalized. Dialysis patients are part of the high-risk group, facing potential life-threatening dangers should their treatment be stopped. In addition to current group vaccinations for the elderly, Urasoe City will be carrying out vaccinations for dialysis patients without age restrictions to prevent a collapsing healthcare system and to protect the lives of its citizens.

Procedure

1. Patient informing the dialysis center that you wish to receive the COVID-19 vaccine


2. Dialysis center sending a list of patients who wish to receive vaccine to Urasoe City


3. Urasoe City sending vaccine tickets to dialysis center


4. Patient and dialysis center to decide on a vaccination date


5. Checking health on day of vaccination
